Scéim Leabhar nua an Rialtais don scoilbhliain 2024/25
(Leabhair scoile saor in aisce do dhaltaí uile na Sraithe Sóisearaí iar-bhunscoile - Daltaí na Chéad Bhliana go dtí Daltaí na Tríú Bliana)
- Tá scéim nua tugtha isteach ag an Rialtas ó thús na scoilbhliana nua 2024/25. Faoin scéim seo, cuirfidh an scoil gach leabhar scoile agus croí-acmhainní ranga ar fáil do dhaltaí i mblianta na Sraithe Sóisearaí in iar-bhunscoileanna go díreach.
- Cuirfear leabhair scoile ar fáil saor in aisce do gach dalta ar iasacht ag tús na scoilbhliana. Cuirfidh an scoil acmhainní lárnacha ranga ar fáil saor in aisce do dhaltaí freisin.
- Ní áireofar le maoiniú faoin scéim seo gléasanna digiteacha a cheannach
- Beidh na leabhair scoile ar iasacht do na daltaí agus ní mór iad a thabhairt ar ais ag deireadh na scoilbhliana nó ag deireadh na Sraithe Sóisearaí (mar a chinneann an scoil) nó má fhágann an dalta an scoil.

New Government Book Scheme for 2024/25 school year
(Free schoolbooks for all post-primary Junior Cycle students - 1st Year to 3rd Year Students)
- The Government has introduced a new scheme from the start of the new school year 2024/25. Under this scheme all schoolbooks and core classroom resources for students in Junior Cycle years in post-primary schools will be provided to students directly by their school.
- Schoolbooks will be provided free to every student on loan at the start of the school year. Core classroom resources will also be provided free to students by the school.
- Funding under this scheme will not include the purchase of digital devices
- The schoolbooks will be on loan to the students and must be returned at the end of the schoolyear or at the end of Junior Cycle (as decided by the school) or if the student leaves the school.
